Gilford Yacht Club is conveniently located on the southwest shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire’s largest lake. With 72 square miles and 253 islands, and surrounded by three mountain ranges, Lake Winnipesaukee offers countless opportunities to explore, cruise, and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Just a 20 minute drive from Route 93, the yacht club is situated central to many popular boating destinations.

Smith Cove is known as the most protected harbor on Lake Winnipesaukee. GYC provides a very quiet and calm conditions at all times as all of Smith Cove is a No Wake Zone.

GYC has 64 privately owned slips, and features its own pump out station, as well as a travel lift to haul and launch boats on our own property. Winter storage is also on property, so there is no need to trailer your boat in the off season.
